Touch Me Like The Delayed Rays Of Stars, 2025
"Touch Me Like The Delayed Rays of Stars," explores loss and longing, not as singular events, but as fragmented memories retold through the lens of a past life. Using cyanotype and embroidery, Turner explores how we hold onto moments that are no longer present. Through altering and stitching, each piece becomes a way to slow down and spend time with what remains.
Turner’s work is rooted in a life in transit, shaped by a desire to hold onto what has been left behind. Through abstraction, she creates a visual dialogue that blurs the line between what is remembered and what is imagined, mirroring the imperfect ways we reconstruct our stories and grieve our past experiences. “Touch Me Like The Delayed Rays of Stars” occupies the space where what’s gone still lingers.
